Egg Salad sandwiches

Maybe it’s a Southern thing?

I don’t know, but around here apparently if you use a hotdog bun for anything other than a hotdog, you must be too poor to afford bread? My coworkers were giving me a hard time today because my wife made egg salad sandwiches using the buns, which is exactly how we ate them last night (how we always eat them). I’ve had egg salad in buns many times throughout my whole life, tuna & fried clams too. Hell, I’ve had lobster in a frickin’ bun before.

Sadly, I couldn’t get through to my work-friends, that different people from different places eat the same food different ways.

Apparently we are just poor… & stupid.
