Recycling at work… GARBAGE

For a number of years, we have had a recycling program going on where I work. They have these bins for plastic bottles and aluminum cans. While it is true that not all employees will make use of the receptacles, I would actually take the time to put my recyclables where they belong.

Recently, I observed the cleaning girl take the bags out of the bins and toss them both in the large trash hopper we have on the side if the building. When I asked her why she did that, she told me that’s what she was instructed to do.

WHAT?

Yes indeed, what a pile of crap.

Still, and for the most part, my recycling program at home is still going strong. *things can be a bit better, but it isn’t all that bad*
