Why is it obscene to show sex in the movies but not violence, or obscene to show breasts but not obscene to show mutilated body parts?

    All of it is unnecessary, The violence encourages people and hardens them to accept it. Society dictates what is allowed.

      Society has conditioned us all through the years to view our sexuality to be something to keep in private and never speak of while violence has always been present it draws our attention because of the emotions it stirs up and thus the media focuses on it to keep us watching even when we know it will only make us more negative toward the world around us.
